On the evening of Saturday, October 11, 2025, Yale Alumni in Western NY are invited to attend and participate in the RIT Big Shot of the Buffalo Bills Highmark Stadium.
The RIT Big Shot is a long-standing program of the RIT Photo School and is a nighttime, long exposure photograph of a significant site. What’s special about the RIT Big Shot is that the nighttime scene is actually illuminated (painted) by flashlights of thousands of participants. The people aren’t visible in the final image but their light is crucial in lighting the subject. This year we will be doing the RIT Big Shot at Highmark Stadium as the Bills mark their final season in this venue.
Tickets are free through Ticketmaster and you are welcome to get tickets via their site and join the anticipated 7,000-10,000 attendees.
However, Todd Jokl ’96, Dean and Professor at the RIT College of Art and Design, thought it would be nice to have a section of Yale Alumni. So, if you simply fill out the Google form below, we can get a block of tickets for the YACR members and distribute them to you ahead of October 11. This is a super cool opportunity to be a part of RIT’s amazing Art and Design Department but also commemorate the closing of Highmark Stadium in 2026.
